She’s really looking forward to working on the play with her friends and to meeting new people. Emma is delighted to have gotten a part considering the tough competition she faced in the auditions. She’s also looking forward to a faux mustache in her character’s future.

‘Tiny Tim’ played by Gwenaelle Noval (2 Lynn) Gwenaelle is 13 years old and has been singing ever since she could hum. She first graced the stage in a singing competition at only 7 years old! Her nerves almost got the better of her before the audition for ‘A Christmas Carol’ but her friends were really supportive and helped encourage her to do her best. Gwenaelle’s audition went very well and she received the part of ‘Tiny Tim’, the son of Bob Cratchit. Gwenaelle is a veteran when it comes to singing on the stage having won the school’s Stars in Your Eyes competition last year.  However, it is Gwenaelle’s first time acting on stage and she’s excited to learn how to act in front of a lot of people. In her own words she is ‘Nervouxited’ (Nervous and excited!).

Our school production team are delighted to announce that ‘A Christmas Carol’ will be this year’s school musical.  This Christmas special retells the story of Charles Dickens popular classic tale which was written in 1843.  It is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge a miserable miser who hates Christmas.  He is a business man who overworks and underpays his employees.  He refuses to give donations to the poor and is cruel to his family.  However, on a bitter cold Christmas Eve in an English Village Scrooge is visited by the distressed ghosts of his late and equally self-centred partner Marley. The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future take Scrooge on a journey to learn the true Spirit of Christmas.  He changes his life to become a caring and kind person.  Stay tuned for weekly character profiles and updates on the progress of this fantastic version of ‘A Christmas Carol’.
