Interview with Dick Wilkins, played by Emma Murphy, 2 Gifford
Tell us about your acting experience.
I started in Junior Infants (Our Lady of Victories). I played the lead of the grumpy sheep. I’ve played in every single play in my primary school. So I’ve been the inn keeper, narrator, shepherd and wise man in our school’s nativity play.
What made you audition?
I love A Christmas Carol, the movie, and I always wanted to be in a big school production. I couldn’t take part in last year’s school production because I can’t sing.
Tell us about your role
My role is one of Scrooge’s old colleagues in Fezziwig and Co. We used to be really good friends and share great laughter.
What do you like about acting?
I like trying out different personalities and personas. This is good if you are shy.
